The MQ-8 is a Metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) type sensor from the series of MQ gas sensors (MQ-2, MQ-3, MQ-4, and so on). The module is highly sensitive to Hydrogen gas and can be used to detect any leaks or presence of Hydrogen gas in the air.
