Important Usage Note
This tester detects AC voltage only, so it cannot measure DC (battery, Arduino or adapter output). Test it on a known live source first to confirm it works. A “no signal” result does not guarantee a wire is dead, so use a multimeter for exact measurement and always treat wires as live until the main switch is off. Shielded or thick cables may give a weak reading.
