LCD 2004 (20x4) Display: Show More Data on One Screen
The LCD 2004 is a 20 column x 4 row character display that shows up to 80 characters at once. It is based on the standard HD44780 controller and has a built-in backlight, so text stays readable even in low light. With an I2C backpack you need only 4 wires to connect it, which saves many Arduino pins. It is a favourite of EEE, CSE and Mechatronics students in Bangladesh for projects that need to display many readings together.
